Build a Water Well in Pakistan

$ 7,741.00 Needed Donation

NEIKI Sub Say Foundation responded to the many warnings Pakistan overlooked regarding the escalating water crisis. From the beginning, our mission has remained clear: to provide sustainable water solutions to communities lacking access to clean and safe drinking water. We operate through the strength and support of the community, maintaining minimal administrative overhead. As a result, every contribution dedicated to constructing a water well in Pakistan is directed entirely toward the development of these life-changing water projects.

Understanding Water Wells

A water well is a long-standing method of obtaining water in Pakistan’s rural landscapes. It involves digging deep into the ground—often reaching depths of around 200 feet—to tap into underground water reserves. Depending on the terrain, various excavation techniques such as drilling, boring, or controlled blasting may be used. To ensure the well remains strong and functional for years, reinforced cement rings are placed inside the shaft. Communities then draw water either manually through hand-operated pulleys or with the help of water pumps where electricity is available.

For countless low-income families,  reliable access to clean water remains out of reach.  Without a secure source, they are forced to rely on unsafe water, risking disease and daily hardship. Installing water wells in these areas provides a dependable and long-lasting supply of clean water, significantly improving community health, dignity, and overall living conditions.

A Global Right Still Out of Reach

Although safe water is recognized worldwide as a fundamental human right, millions continue to be denied this basic necessity. Despite the abundance of freshwater on Earth, many communities—especially in impoverished regions—must depend on contaminated or inadequate sources. This undermines their well-being, limits opportunities, and perpetuates cycles of poverty.

NEIKI’s Water Well initiative addresses this disparity by offering practical solutions where the need is greatest, ensuring families regain access to one of life’s most essential resources.

A Lasting Gift of Sadaqah Jariyah

Donating a water well is considered Sadaqah Jariyah—a continuous form of charity that benefits communities for years and brings ongoing spiritual reward to the donor. Individuals may dedicate this charity for themselves or in memory of someone dear. Whether placed in bustling towns or remote villages, each well becomes a lasting source of hope and relief.
